Riverwood Therapeutic Riding Center provides quality, professional equine assisted activities for both children and adults with special needs. Equine assisted activities help to improve muscle tone, balance, posture, coordination and motor development as well as emotional well being.

Riverwood Therapeutic Riding Center is located among 53 acres in Tobaccoville, NC and serves Forsyth, Yadkin, Stokes, Surry and Davie Counties.

Volunteer Orientation
Volunteer Orientation includes learning about the Riverwood mission, a tour of the farm, the risk management plan and policies, roles of Leaders, Advanced Leaders and Sidewalkers, as well as barn rules and safety procedures.
