Riverwood Again Receives Premier Accredited Center Status

In August 2011, Riverwood underwent close scrutiny by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (formerly NARHA) to again achieve the elite status of a Premier Accredited Therapeutic Riding Center. Riverwood must maintain and abide by rigorous safety standards, strict administrative policies and procedures and be able to demonstrate our ability to uphold the highest standard of excellence in all areas of the operation (programs, facilities, equine care, etc.). Our fearless leader, Susan Hubbard, conducted the recertification process and Riverwood was again bestowed with Premier Center status. A big thank you to everyone who volunteered and assisted with the recertification process. Another reason to be proud of Riverwood!
