2012 Event Sponsorship and Fundraising Opportunities

Bluegrass Bash
It’s the Big Event of the year! Held every fall, the Bluegrass Bash is Riverwood’s largest annual fundraising event, and there are many ways you can participate and help make the Bash a success. We need donors for the Silent Auction and sponsorship levels range from $250 - $7,500. Please call us at 336-922-6426 for complete information. Business and School Fundraising – “Horseshoes of Hope”
Your business or local school can play a huge role in helping Riverwood provide equine assisted therapy services to our community. Personalized horseshoes are sold for $1 each, and prizes are awarded for reaching certain levels. This program can be coordinated and customized with Riverwood to fit the needs of the organization. 2012 Timed Trail Ride and Open Show Series (held with Triad First in Families)
Riverwood is excited to be partnering with Thoroughbred Training Center in Mocksville to offer four 2012 timed trail rides. The rides will take place April 21, June 2, September 8 and October 27 on the beautiful farmland and woodlands around TTC and neighboring properties. We will also be co-hosting an Open Show with Triad First in Families on June 2 and October 20 that will take place at TTC concurrent with the trail rides. Proceeds will benefit Riverwood and Triad First in Families, a family support program whose mission is to help people with disabilities and their families achieve their goals and realize their dreams. There are opportunities to sponsor classes at these events. Class sponsorships are $25/each and there will be additional sponsorship opportunities for the timed trail rides. Buckets and Bowls
If you enjoy hosting dinner parties, picnics, backyard barbeques, and other social events, host an evening for Riverwood! Fill your guests “bowls” with food while they fill Riverwood’s horses’ buckets! Ask your guests to donate $15 – $25 that will go directly to help support our therapy horses and programs. We have special flyers and signs, so contact us if you are interested in hosting a Buckets and Bowls event!
